What's happening on the big pond? Are the 5-6 pounders shallow at 6ft? I'm anxious to hear if anyone has been fishing it in the past few weeks.

Haha! Hey cport! It has been a while. I got caught up in the ways of college classes as a junior in HS. It's tough. How has fishing been for you?

Take a trip to the FL forums, you will see the nice pics. Go look over on the FL Hawg Wall threads on the months CPort caught his fish.

I've been fishing Mille Lacs the past couple of weeks.  Kayak and addicted to topwater, but have managed some nice fish shallow(18-19.75inchers) in the past couple of weeks.  Missed the real good shallow bite this year.  All of the landings are packed(lots chasing walleyes). As the reeds come up(about two weeks behind this year), there are always smallmouth working the edges especially early and late from my experience.  I am sure the jig bite around rocks is solid.
