Was lucky enough to actually get out this past weekend.  Plenty of rain to start the day but dwindled out about an hour and a half after we launched.  Christopher Run was VERY dirty and had a good amount of floating debris.  We actually launched out of Anna point and ran around a little bit.  I'll admit I was riding with a buddy and fish the lake infrequently, so I'm not 100% of the locations we fished.

Water temps ranged from 79 to 81 degrees, which was very surprising to me.  I don't know why but i feel like thats REALLY high for the cold side, even into June.

Most other areas of the lake had GREAT clarity despite the rainy conditions.  As we ran around the fish were all over.  Between the 2 of us we caught somewhere around 10 keepers.   Biggest was 2.5lb with most being between 1 and 2 lbs.  Broad spectrum of tactics.  A couple on a Chart / Silver buzz bait.  Most of my fish were caught on plastics in the Watermelon / Red Flake flavor, and a few were caught on crankbaits.  All in all a good day considering how much rain we've gotten, and we were actually able to stay dry for the most part.

I saw a report that a tournament was won that same day on strictly top water.  Not sure exactly WHAT they were throwing, but it would seem the fish were active.

Very cool!  ~c~
I grew up and have family there including two sons and still haven't fished it in probably 18 years. A lot has changed since I was last there.
