I just started bass fishing a year or so ago and still learning. I am starting to get a feel for my go to baits: Black/Red Rattletrap, Dinger/Senko, Buzzbaits. What are yours?

My preferred baits are a crankbait first and a jig second. That's what I prefer. Sadly, the fish often prefer something else. So my "go to" baits are whatever the fish prefer based on the conditions at the  given moment.  :-*

For the longest time my go to bait was a 3/8 oz Willow leaf spinner bait.  I have since found that a Texas Rigged Sweet Beaver is my New Go To Bait  ;)

My usual go to is a TR Rage Craw. I use the Baby Rage Craw as a trailer on my jig when I use them. In most cases my go to is always a soft plastic or jig. I can throw them in places I can't throw other things.

I try to be versatile in my lure selection and techniques but you can bet that at some time in the day that flipping stick is gonna come out of the rod box and if I get a bite or two everything else goes back into the box.

Too often true for me too ... Mine are the Original Floating Rapala, Senkos, and Flukes.

My go to baits are a jig/swim jig, wacky rig/shakey head, and a frog/plopper

Hula grub, topwater, swimbait, and a t-rig.
But those are once I have found fish.
A search bait like a buzzbait, crank, and spinnerbait are tops then.

The first lure that touches the water when I get there is always a crankbait. If no bites, then either a jig or a Texas rig.

I've had a few and because of it became used to several techniques, if I had to rely on one it would be finesse dropshot with a 3 inch BPS sticko.

...a 3 inch BPS sticko.

... now that's a bass slaying little lure I just found a few months ago ... whoa, anything will try to eat those things.
