BassHOGS

Had few weeks off to focus on the house build and momma coming into town.  Fished this past weekend at Lake Eufaula and unfortunately was unable to come up with a fish to weigh.  I was able to catch fish most of the day but just couldn't find any size.  I figured that with the shad spawn in the early morning, I would be able to catch a limit fairly quickly but just wasn't meant to be.  First ZERO of the year so there is always a positive I guess in that this is a first for the year after 3 years off.  Look forward to the 2 day Championship in July.

I had a few more tournaments lined up between now and July but I have to go under the knife on 16 May to repair a torn tendon in my left wrist.  I'll be in a cast for about a month but hopefully that wont keep me from typing.  Ill post the results of the Lake Eufaula tournament once ABA posts them......I turned in my chip, put the boat on the trailer, and headed to the house before weigh-in.. ~rant.

Sometimes the shad spawn can be an enemy. They can get so sucked into the size and shape and won't touch anything else.

Thanks for the report and good luck with your surgery.

Keep us posted as you can.

Well surgery went good.  There was more damage than originally thought but he was able to repair everything.  I'm in a 3/4 arm cast so doing life is hard without help but luckily my dear wife and kids are there to help.  Post surgery pain was intense but Percocet is a hell of a drug!!!!  Hope to be back on the water by mid-July if everything goes well.....................I HATE TYPING SINGLE HANDED ~rant!!!  Hope everyone is going well with everyone!!!

Good to hear that your surgery went well BassHOGS,  Once everything heals,  you will be back to normal.

I am in a cast myself, so I know how you feel.  I didn't have surgery, my was self inflicted.   ~b~

I will be praying that everything heals normal.

Glad to hear that everything was taken care of and thatt you have some fine folks ( and good meds) around  to help you get through it. ~c~ ~c~ Typing single handed isn't to bad once you get use to it.  ;D
