Recently acquired a 1984 Procraft 1650V F/S boat.  Looking for any and all information for said model.  Wiring diagram, plumbing diagram, etc.  I know the company is out of business, but I am missing the two front seats...I have looked around the web to see if I could get some idea of the design, etc....Not perfect, cosmetically, but not a bad value for less than $200.

Came with a Mercury 1100 SS (110hp) Power Tower, and a 900 (90hp) Power Tower, for parts. The 1100 runs like a beast!  It's currently at the mechanic getting its "check-up", hope to put it on the water for a test run later this week.

I've found this applies to many brands and years of boats. I got it for my Stratos. It should help you identify the wires.

Always a good idea to double check before performing any repairs.

Looks like a good project boat and as long as the motor is in good shape you can have a good fishing boat when your done.

I've been trying to get the video of it running to post, but can't get it to.  I'll have to load it to YouTube later.  Spent about 20 min checking compression, etc, and itcfored right up, runs smooth! My mechanic is looking at the foot, thinks the previous owner just didn't put it back together correctly.  Hopefully we will see this week!

Got the call from the mechanic that he has it finished up, and water ready! The foot didn't work (per previous owner), so my mechanic took it off, found out the previous owner had reassembled it completely wrong, destroying all the seals.  He replaced the water pump and reassembled everything and re-installed it, and presto it work perfectly!  He said he did his best to idle it so low that it would kill the motor, and he couldn't get it to die out.  Said it's one of the smoothest running engines he's seen in a while!  Hope to go pick it up mid-week and take it out for a test run! Super excited!

Here is a short video of it on the water for a few minutes Saturday evening.

I feel like it is throttled a little to low, and the prop may be to big for the set up I have.  The mechanic said that was going to be his biggest worry, so I am taking it back Monday to see what he says...almost there! So close!!!!

Lipripper

Sounds like your getting close. Maybe like you said a smaller prop might help.

From the video it sounds like it is not making the RPMs you would expect.  Prop perhaps or even fuel delivery but it does not seem up to snuff just yet.  Hopefully your mechanic can help out.  Do you know what RPMs you were turning?  Could not tell from your video but I did not notice you trimming the motor.  Does it have Trim/Tilt?

CalebJns

It does not have power trim (yet), working on getting one. Not sure on the RPM's going to have him check that set up while he has it back this week.
