How close is it?

It's so close that I can almost touch it with the tip of my shoe. Well, maybe not that close. Spring is finally close enough that we better be ready.  Looks like the wind has dropped a bit and the rain has stopped for awhile. Chances are good that you might get out to a local spot to test the waters.
Liberty Reservoir opened on March 1 and activity has been ok because the weather has not cooperated. Haven't heard much feedback from people as of yet.
My Club events start April 7th on Rocky Gorge or Black Hills. I am figuring Black Hills because I think The Gorge water will be too low for trailered boats. Maybe they will surprise me because I dearly love The Gorge.
Hope you are ready and weather cooperates over the next couple of weeks. I am waiting on the Doctor's Okie Dokie to get started this year. It may slow me down but it will never stop me.

Kris I'm ready for to make my first trip to the water and hope your Dr gives you the OK and that your body will go along with it. Just as soon as some of that mud drys up and we have a couple of days in the high 40's and the wind isn't blowing to bad I will be out searching. Thank you Brother. As this appointment grows closer I kinda keep hoping she's not gonna recommend not doing anything. I will go nuts if I have to refrain from any activity other than reading a book. I always make it worse than it turns out to be so I hope I am wrong again.
