We fished today from about 11 until around 430 and caught probably 12. Most were small buck bass but did have several 1 1/2-2 lb fish. All were caught on kudzu or watermelon red plastics.

Water temps ranged from 62-66 and water is stained up quite a bit from all the rain. Weird part is the water on the north end actually looked better than the water towards the dam.

Thanks for the report and glad y'all caught some fish.

I've seen that situation about the water color out there quite a bit.  Maybe it takes time for the muddy water to work it's way to that end of the lake?

Pacific NW Ron

Thanks for sharing.  I'll take A dozen fish that size any day.
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

Yep, it was bass-ackwards from usual! The flats at the far north end of the lake looked pretty good.
