what is the best prop for a 2002 zx 250 with a 3.1l o66  250hp motor

Yamaha, Evinrude, Merc?

Hopefully a couple of our Skeeter owners will drop in with some input, but knowing which motor can help narrow it down a little. I would guess a 26 pitch or maybe 27, but what works great on a rude, may not on a yammy due to different gearing and different power bands.

I've got no experience with the Yammy, I will stick with my first response as far as pitch. Probably get the better hole shot with a 26. I'm not sure but I think the Yamaha lower units might be geared lower than the Rudes and Mercs.

Let's see if someone can offer a bit more info.
