looks like several pros sacrificing some speed for extra room and fishing the Lynx.  Not that the Lynx is slow but we all know it's not the speed demon the Eyra and Cougar are.
Is BCB signaling a change in design or will they simply target both the speed and the comfort guys?

I think it's to appease both sides...

If I had the doe, and was buying, the Lynx would Definitely be top on my list.

The Comfort boat used to be the PIV. It was designed for a smoother ride and more comfort at the expense of speed for the older angler. BassCat's designs always have a purpose. Flipper and pitchers like a very forward pedal position and seating to facilitate their technique. Hence, the Puma was introduced in 2005. I think of Basscat's designs as specific to a purpose. They do not make a general, try to be everything boat.

One of the Pro's reported a 77.7 mph run in the Lynx, can't remember which one.  I don't think they are giving up much.  John Crews will will be a little slower than he is used to but it will still take a heck of a drive and boat/motor combo to out run the Lynx.

I agree.  If I had "mad moocie" (Knockaround Guys reference  8)) I would get the Lynx.  I mean.... when is 77 MPH not fast enough?!?!?!!

Speed can be overrated. During the season on LOZ, you don't drive over 45-50 in the waves with a boat that tops at mid to upper 70's. But in the waves is where my Puma shines as do all BassCats. Fast on the glass and comfortable in the waves.
