I enjoy shopping boats now and then. Even more these days because I am beginning to weigh my options for my retirement boat. I've got a bit over five years to go and of course I know lots of things can change in five years, but I do like to fish shallow water and I really like this thing right now.

.

It's probably a bit more expensive than a RT-198P. Maybe Bigwrench can help me build one! :-*

Fishing boat or off road(Swamp) racer?  This guy is gonna hit a tree head on some day and break his neck! Hope there is another boat like this within a short ride to be able to go where he crashed!
But,   You can fish some skinny water!
Wonder how many props this guy goes thru in a season? Lol

Now that was one cool boat. I can use it in the everglades or Lake Okeechobee back waters...  lo

I wonder how many snakes fell into that boat when shooting that video...  :o :o

One thing for sure, it should come out ahead in the event of a two boat meet up in the reeds.

Their props are supposed to be as tough as the boat and the outdrive is designed to protect the prop. It doesn't contact everything it goes over.

That is neat for fishing the swamps. Too bad it doesn't have enough room to stack gators.

When that video first came out I emailed the company about the price. It's been a while but I think it was about 180k.
I am not joking.

And last week I bought a brand new go devil boat, motor and trailer for 12k that can do the same thing just much slower.

I am with Team Karu,  that thing would be great as long as you are going forward.  If you run it aground way back up in the woods,  it will still be there years later.  You will have to wait for high water to float it out of the woods.

I fish Lake Seminole a couple weeks every year and that thing would be great for Lake Seminole.

I wonder how far that thing will go on $10 worth of gas?
