Looking forward to 2018 and the rear view mirror

2017 has been a good year for me but I am really looking forward to 2018. This Season has been a my year of trying different presentations that this Ol' School fisherman has not used in a long time or never. Like dropshotting, weighted wacky worms and even got more into crankbaits which I haven't thrown much for many years. Started paying attention to waters that I have only been fishing for two years like Rocky Gorge and Little Seneca. I also started fishing Liberty and Prettyboy Reservoirs again with my Friend in his boat. Didn't catch a lot of fish in either but did catch some. Only two trips to each of them this Season.
Next Season I will pay for my PA license again and start fishing lower Central PA again. This year will probably include Lake Marburg in Codurus State Park along with my usual Long Arm and Lake Redman. I have to get my outboard ready for Marburg. Got some work to do on the reservoir rig and need to get to work on the Ranger and get it back in the water.
I hope everyone has had a safe and Merry Christmas with Family. This year has flown by for me and sometimes seems like it has only been six months long. Hoping that 2018 will be a better year for everyone and hopefully the fishing will improve too.

I hope you do too Brother. I know you have been working on your stamina so you can walk further and fish longer which is a good thing. Best of luck to ya in 2018.

Well since I didn't log a single day on the water this year things can't get any worse fishing wise in 2018. 

Talked to my BIL the other day and he is going to be buying a small boat for pond fishing. He said I WILL be going fishing with him next year if he has anything to say about it. 

Hope you get to feeling better quick Lip. It's going around all over the country and it's taking folks 2 or 3 weeks to fully kick it. With your health situation don't overdo. Take your time and get your  back.
