It's that time of the year when us folks in the great frozen north winterize our boats, just a couple quick tips. Remove the batteries from and remotes and scales you have, nothing worse than finding a mess corrosion under the battery housing. The best way to tie down tarps on a boat left outside is use milk jugs 3/4 full of water tied to the eyelets of the tarps and leave them off the ground. Most rope stretches, the jugs automatically take care of this using gravity, it works.

Great tip on the milk jugs. That would work for anything covered with a tarp pretty much. I have a stack of used lumber I need to cover and I dreaded having to keep constant watch on the tarp coming loose.

Rodney, Tks for sharing that with us.
