Assistance needed for the technology challenged - posting pic related

I post pics from tapatalk and sometimes write with it too.

But for reports and longer posts I use the laptop and write PIC where I want a pic to be, then edit with my phone and insert the pic.

So far so good I think; I haven't tried posting anything but I'm fishing tomorrow and am planning on uploading the pics of my 144" of fish that I plan on catching

I have the same ruler I've always had; it goes to 23" so if I need more than that I'll stick it in the livewell until I can use yours
