An unusually hot October so far. Water temps are 73-76 degrees. They should be low to mid 60's. The trees haven't yet turned, the lake hasn't turned over and the fish still think it's summer. What is surprising is the fishing. Every species is good to very good. Bass, crappie, catfish, walleye--everything is biting. So, come here while the lake is hot. Very few boats of any kind on the water as most of the big boats have been winterized and are off the water till May.

Wizard sounds like you just about have the lake to yourself and at just the right time when all the different fish are hungry.  ~c~
