Hi friends, I'm in need of help. I have a tracker pro 170 that has the stock MC edge and I want to install a Terrova. Does anyone know if there is bow access for mounting? I've removed the angled section with the tm plug hoping that would give me access but nothing there.

Thanks for any assistance you can give. I appreciate it.

They may have changed since the old Bass Tracker I used to own. I'd suggest using threaded inserts for sheet metal. Put a little medium strength thread lock on the bolts. You install the inserts pretty much the same as hollow wall anchors, they're secure, and if you ever need to remove them you just drill them out like you would a rivet.

Doing what Jim said, the only thing I would add is use a quick release kit, it allows you to remove the tm quickly and remount it quickly. How is the Edge mounted, threaded inserts?

If you carefully look through the carpeting on the panel you'll find the screws that hold it to the bow, they can be buried in the carpet so you'll have to look close.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll check out the inserts. That might be the best and only choice I have.

I'll also check out the quick release kit.

I did remove the panel. I thought for sure that would give me access but it doesn't. Under the panel, the bow aluminum continues and angles the same as the panel. In that section there's only a small slot for the receptacle wiring.

I haven't removed  any Edge bolts yet out of fear that I'll hear the sound of a nut dropping into the hull. But sooner or later I'll have to go for it.
