I'm looking for a NuTech jig with a very stout hook. What jig has the stoutest hooks?

I see the NuJig Elite say they have are "Equipped with a super-sharp, super-strong Trokar hook" are these the stoutest hooks available on the NuTech jigs?

I like the NuTech jigs but I have some of the NuTech NuJig Pro Series I read have a Owner hook and well the hooks are extremely sharp but a little light on wire size. I'm bending mine out a little at a time.

I honestly don't know but if somebody doesn't respond shoot Bo a PM. He's as honest as the day is long and will tell you which hooks are the strongest on his jigs.

I believe I have just about every jig NuTech makes they all have strong hooks. I have yet to have a fish straighten a hook, but I believe the NuTech  Elite Series uses the Trokar Big Nasty. That would probably be at the top of the tough hook list.

Yeah I was hoping Bo would respond as to what ones are the heaviest wire version. I thought it might be good info shared publicly so others would know as well.

I haven't actually "straightened" any but I was out yesterday and noticed one of mine is slowly opening up and thought the next time I purchase some I want to get the heavier wire. The other jigs I use have a Owner Deep Throat jig hook with heavier wire than the ones I currently have. My local tackle shop doesn't carry NuTech so I cant see them to pick the ones I want. I wanted a NuTech with that heavier wire is all.

the Elite Series and the Elite GrassJigs have the strongest hook on the market.  they are a custom hook that i designed and even Trokar does not offer a hook that is as stout as this hook.  it is built with .062 wire and features a modified O'shaughnesse bend, which the Trokar big nasty features.  I would say you would have a hard time ever opening this hook up.  if it will stand up to my hooksets, it will stand up to just about anything.

Thanks that is what I was wanting to know.  A .062 wire is plenty big.

Grass Jigs hooks are awesome.
