West, fished Tennessee this morning with Walt. Caught 6 or 7, no culls. All on a fluke. No schooling. Water temp is down to 72. There is a lot of hydrilla and eel grass. Wind ran us off at 1130.

-Barry-
Good to hear, sorry no culls. It is hit and miss out there for quality. There are some big girls out there though. I have seen them.

West, I bought every single one of those that I could find the last time that I was at Bridgemasters. I figured that what they are....Bass Pro Shops Swim n Elite chunk. Great looking bait and they worked great for me pitching & punching. Good score!
I bought every blue one that wasn't over flaked, and bought almost all the watermelon red. Left a few handfuls though.

Barry glad you and Walt caught some fish and sorry you couldn't get any of the bigger girls to bite. West hope you don't run out of them anytime soon lo lo at $5 a LB you got a great deal. ~c~ ~c~

Im going to try the river in the morning before the cold air arrives. Havent been there in a month. Hopefully water level has stabilized and the fish have returned to normal pattern. Dont think I can catch Rick but maybe move up a spot or two.

No idea. But I got a huge bag and it was barely over 2 lbs and 10 bucks. 100+ baits for sure, no doubt, maybe double that.

The Zoom speed craws come 15 to a bag for 3 to 4 bucks.

If I remember I will measure them this week and let you know. I can assure you it is a good deal.

Woke up a little while ago thinking maybe I'll go fish. Got a look at the weather thinking the rain might be gone and all would be good. I mean heck I can fish in a tropical depression. But then my storm app showed me that Phillipe is now a TropicalStorm and headed right towards me.
All the rain has passed but I don't really know if I want to be outside in tropical storm winds fishing.
Think I'll wait till tomorrow. :)

Rick, I was going to fish this morning as well. Woke to wind advisories on the lakes. Drizzling with winds 8-10MPH, gust to 25MPH. Think I'll sit this out. Wind is OK in some parts of the river, but rain and wind equal cold. Be safe down there.

Yeah I wouldn't even think about taking the boat out lol

I was gonna go bank fishing. But even that seems like it might not be one of my finest ideas.

Oh well. Back to work tomorrow and then maybe I can get an hour or two in of fishing.

Also another one of my not so fine moments I forgot to take the plug out the boat on Friday. Lol. So yeah it was half way full of water this morning.

No fishing for me today. Amy surprised me with stadium club seats for the Bucs/Panthers today. Two not so great teams with a 30 mph cross wind should be entertaining at the least.

So this morning was beautiful. lol.

Um this "Tropical Storm" passed a while ago, and it seems nothing happened...I could have gone out and fished.

Damn weather apps! Useless along with weather people. Fire them all.

They are worn a lot.  lo lo I know one time my app showed a big storm down there on Lake O when Lou was fishing it and from the report from Lou there wasn't even any  ~rain at all. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah. Depending on where you at, Eastern shores will have higher waters due to the wind pushing the water that direction today.

Ok, standing on these rocks and casting is killing my back so just kinda coaching my son instead. He caught two peacocks so far. We found a small spot shrouded from the wind.
