I'm a meat gettin' type feller, couple of does to keep the population good and it's all I need, I let that big one walk 5 or 6 times last year, hoping some young kid will get him when it's time.

I like your thinkin'! You could always tranq the big guy and tag him with an ear tag that says "Lee Smith was here first".

Our neighbor set a trailcam behind our house and got this over the weekend.  I've been seeing some scat so I wasn't too surprised.
