Guntersville Report for 13 Sept 2017

Guntersville Lake 13 Sept 2017 –  This report is for the past two weeks, We continued to have a blast catching good numbers and good quality fish Frog/Rat fishing, Flipping and Punching most days.  But that's not all, we caught them on variety of lures including the new D-Bomb colors "Pink Belly and Sauty Bug" and "Straight Black" from Missile Baits.  The best lineup of lures was Scooby Doo from Pro-Z Baits, Tightline Jigs, D-Bombs from Missile Baits, True Bass swimbaits and Catch 5 Swim-jigs from Tightline Jigs around main channel grass lines and grassy humps.  Water temps range from 75 (in the morning) to 80/81 degrees by late afternoon.  If the trend holds this fall is going to be a lot of fun for Guntersville anglers. ...It's time to start planning those early fall Frog and flipping/punching trips Guntersville is famous for, call me to reserve a date.   Please wear your PFDs and beware of your surroundings; with the increased traffic boating accidents can happen to anyone!
