Dang Tress sorry to hear you smashed the heck out of your finger and won't be able to fish  and hope it don't stay messed up for too long. West your young so don't let a little heat stop you from going fishing. ~bb lo lo

Thanks West. I will make an individual  thread for this for everyone to see.

Sounds like something that might be a good thing to go to. I guess they are tell everyone what's going on and ask for your feed back then not listen to anything you say.

I don't know about those guys but at the FWC meetings for the Kissimmee chain they actually listen the fishermans input on the spraying programs. I've been impressed with them.

That's great that they listen  ~c~ That don't happen very often and most of the time they already have their mind made up what they want to do and just have the meetings so they can say they did.

It used to be under the EPA/Water management jurisdiction where the policy was "kill anything that grows in the water" to keep the rich and very vocal pleasure boaters happy. Now under FWC, wildlife biologists are actually managing the fisheries for both pleasure boaters and fishermen. It's working well.

Hey Ya'all, not dead yet!

Been a super busy time the last couple of weeks. Was in Miami, then Tampa for several spots that turned into a 6-day work week. Got home and left the next day for Ga where we were at stores in the Atlanta area, then Athens, then Augusta, then back to the Atlanta area, then to Macon. Spent yesterday catching up on things that needed done and was planning to fish this morning but just slept in. Can you say Worn Out?

Got some running to do later then things should calm down. Hope to get out tomorrow for a few before I head out again on Monday.

Sorry to hear about your finger Tress. Stuff like that happens.

Thanks for the thought Lou, but rarely have much time. Get in and do any clean out of whatever was left by previous occupants, then get something to eat and hit the bed. Get up and head to store. Unload the truck of everything the company shipped in, build the store , then head off to next location.

At least I know my way there now and it's not so bad. Maybe we can do a weekend sometime.

Sounds good Fred.

Fred, where abouts were you in Miami, and what stores are these?

Lipripper

FD how did the fishing go or did you just take the boat out and give it a bath. ;D

This was easily 40+lbs of hydrilla, along with almost 5lb of bass.
Well, I tried to make Lake C my mainstay this month. After the great day I had there to begin, I've been back 4-5 times with not so great results. Today was better. In addition to the one cull that came out of all that salad, there was a 20.5, a 19.75, several smaller fish, and three that got off that may have culled. Also had a big one come competely out of the water after my Charlie's Skinny Dipper copy, but it didn't connect. Fished in the rain and wind for a few hours this afternoon. Glad I brought a change of clothes, because I got soaked. But it was worth it.

These are Halloween City stores. Homestead, Kenner (think that was the name), Ft Lauderdale, and one this week I don't know where yet. Another team also built one down there last week while we were in Ga.

Ah... Yeah Homestead is pretty far South from Miami.

The winds were higher than expected so we only fished early mornings. I dink to show for it.

I don't like fishing in strong winds either but at least you caught a fish. Maybe next time it won't be so much wind. It should start cooling off down there in a couple of months then the fishing should get better.
