There should be enough of us that each of our boats can tail somebody different. Then after we figure out who is on the fish they can call the rest of us on two way radios & give directions to the feeding trough.

I get my deer feed at Joe's Hardware on the Whiskey Chitto River.
His live longer. I bet most people don't know deer are meat eaters.
When you feed them use the camo duck vechicle, there may be someone watching.

Ok guys, the launch and weigh in site will be at Sam Houston Jones State Park. We changed it from Parkside so everything would take place in one location. The super will be served in the area between cabins 1 and 2, which are both located right next to the launch. And Mike you can see the deer pin from the cabin.

Just my 2 cents worth, but to me it looks like the park would be a nicer landing and everyone could tie their boats to the bulk head with lots of room and lots of parking room! I only got a quick look at Parkside, so I could be wrong. And of course, it would be easier for ya'll to feed the deer from the camp grounds too!

Oh, forgot to post that the times have been changed. We will start at 7am instead of 6am. I've made the changes in the rules so make note of it.

Parkside has some nice facilities but it is easier to do everything out of one location. It took a little while to decide because we had to clear everything with the park officials which I did today.

Rattle,

What time does the park open their gates? Is it 7:00am like at Chicot? Why I ask is that we will be driving in Sat. morning and spending Sat. night in the Days Inn there close to the park.

Laurie, no problem. Ricky, the gates open at 6:00 am. We are asking everyone to be there no later than 6:30 am. This is so we can get everyone signed in and make sure everyone made it to the launch OK. Read rule 16 for check in.

Wow can you believe that it is only two weeks away? I am so excited about meeting everyone and spending some time away from the house

especially because it means fishing and relaxing tooooooo...

Ya'll better save me some fish. For as much as you are fishing they may all be sore mouthed by the time we get down there

I just got word that I can have off on the 24th so I'll see everyone on the Calcasieu!!

All I need now is some directions from someone... Shawn & I will be heading down there on Friday morning. Anyone have any idea how long of a drive it is?

I can only tell you the group from here...you and Shawn, Mike and Laurie, Papa and Trey, me. Plus, Bo Crawford and his partner from Mississippi. Rickoos and his wife. And then there is Rattle and his group. Well, maybe that was more that just our folks. I do believe we will have a lot of "meeting" to do.
