I guess we jinxed me...I spent yesterday with a sore throat and went home and drugged up on everything I could find and also took about 10 vitamin c's. Evidently, I was running a fever last night because I was sweating one minute & freezing the next. Slept about 3 hours max.
This morning, my throat feels like it is in a vise and really sore! More drugs this evening and hopefully knock it out pretty quick.

Maybe the fresh river air is what I need...yeah, that's it!

i guess I need to run get some more towels to add to the packing so that Mike won't steel all of ours to do just that, wipe down the boat

We leave first thing in the morning so we will have the water scouted out. I hope we will be able to catch a few fish as well but not matter what this weekend will be one to remember...

At noon I drove to the Bluff and looked at the water. Its not as clear as it was last week but still pretty good. The tide will not be that high here, we are 40 to 50 miles from the Gulf and the channel will restrict just how much water comes up this far. What effect it will have is only guess work. I do like the idea of the rain cooling the water temperature.
