So if I am looking at it right, the major falling tide will be in the late afternoon that weekend...Is that right?

Rattle, How far is the closest gas station to where we will be staying? My boat drinks a ton of gas for some reason so I am sure that I will have to pull out & make a gas run at least once, especially if I try to run to the salt water barrier friday when we get there.

I have read several reports of some pretty good reds & specs being caught just above the barrier so I am thinking about leaving REAL early friday morning so I will have time to run a little south when we get there.

there is a Citgo station just a little ways from the state park on the way in at ParkSide Mariner. And then town is only a few more miles from the park. I think Moss Bluff is only 3-5 miles from the park also.

Parkside Marnina is a mile from the cabins.  Parkside use to have a dockside pump you could fill up on the water.  I haven't used it since Parkside changed owners but the dock pump is probably still in operation.

Ok, I know I should have read every post here, but, didn't feel like it!   Whats the date of this party oh I mean tournament?  How far of a drive is it?  If I can get away can I follow someone down?  If my partner can't join me would anyone like the honor of riding in a NITRO?  Remember though the ride out is free but if your a pain in the butt its a Long swim!

O this might be hard, I'm supposed to go to FL on the 25 for vacation with the in-laws, believe it or not I like them.  Anyway I'm working on bugging Danielle to let me go & just meet me @ the lake and go from there but so far she had said NO!  But  told her to sleep on it  then just kept whispering in her ear to let me go, so we will see how it turns out, so far I got chased out of the bed room, but once she goes to sleep and its safe I'll go back!

I hope you are going to central Fla. my mom lives just north of Gulf Shores, she said it looks like a war zone there!
I may be going over this weekend to help with the clean up there in my little home town. The owner of our company is buying an 18-wheeler of genator's to take over there and give out to the needie.

I may be quite on the board for a while, if so, I'll see you all next weekend at the Annual Tournment!

Well, it looks like I have had a change of plans...We will be leaving thursdday evening after work instead of Friday morning 

I am supposed to hear from Bo this evening so I need to find out about getting the cabin thursday night instead of friday. I am not sure what he has reserved.

I used to live in Baldwin County up above Bayminnette in a little hole in the woods called Perdido (thats indian for "lost")......Hope the family is doing allright over there, I also used to fish by a bridge down in Gulf Shores in a parking lot, don't remember where, it was in '85.....Dave

So the tournament is almost upon us.. I am really excited to see how this all turns out! But when it is over it will be time to start planning for the 2005 Ultimate Bass Club ShootOut so where should we have it?
