Ok this post is a day but better than never.  Went to go to Echo Lake yesterday figured be a good day to hit them good on a jerk bait.  Well I got there and the water was at least 6 feet lower of the ramp than normal for this time of year.  Well I attempted to launch anway.  Buried the Suburban even off the ramp and it never got any deeper.  So I left and went down the road to a small pond I found last year but never fished.  It was electric trlooing motor only and not very big.  Water isn't very deep maybe 4-5 feet average.  Lots of rocks.  Air temp was about 7- with the water temp actually at 59. I ended up with 6 fish my biggest at 3-14.  Fish either came off rocks are the 2 down trees on tthe lake.  All were caught on a black and blue 1/8 oz jig.  I also saw quiet a few large fish cruising around.  I was actually amazed giving the size and the shallowness of the pond.

Echo Lake is a good lake, but I dont usually go there anymore in the daytime because of the jetskies and speedboats flying around

Echo is a really good lake.  Only problem early in the year was the lower was to low for me to launch there.  Now I can't launch there after Labor Day do the the 10 Horse Limit Rule.  Your ight it is a busy lake in the summer.
