High and muddy and getting muddier, water temps in the mid to upper 70's at start and 80's at weigh in time.  The weights for the 2 day tournament where way down from last year at the same time.  Talked with many of the guys that fished the river and their bite was slow Saturday, ours was non-existent in the lakes or the river. 

Sunday, the grass bite picked up and we caught many fish, just nothing big enough to over come the day before. 

All this rain is making the water systems here terrible, with no let up in site

Just a week early Lee, just saw a post on FB from a tournament Saturday out of Roland Cooper, 41 boats, 34 limits, 18.45 won and top 5 over 15 pounds. Had a trip planned 3 weeks ago but cancelled due to high water and rain and my Mom in the hospital with a heart issue. Trying to talk my buddy into going soon as my suit case is still packed and ready.
