I told you they are great!

I'm a believer. I bought like 5-6 in different colors because I don't throw then often, I don't know what works and what doesn't.
So far I've had luck with the gold one I lost, and a shad color one I also lost lol.  :-/

I have a similar shad one but its a little smaller, a red craw one I haven't used yet, and another I can't remember what color.

Red craw is an excellent summer color.

I'll have to give it a go then.
I have never thrown anything that resembles that color in lures. Maybe I am missing out lol.

John has had an issue with his mailbox for a long time. Probably something to do with him being Canadian. lol

I have a few red eye shad, haven't caught anything on them yet. I got one in Bone, and one in Bluegill.

Sucks when the fish that seem active are out in the middle of the lake blowing up on bait, but can't reach those fish. The many fish near the bank want nothing to do with any of the lures and baits I was throwing.

Being a little "short" and having the wrong "bait" is something you may have to deal with the rest of your life....

Front yard lol. I have fished it quite a bit, just about every evening weather permiting. It is low and dead. Haven't even seen any movement. :-(

Spent 5 hours at the river for one bite that wasn't even a bass.  Really wanted to break 100in.
With the sudden rise in water, and now they are spraying the pads and hycanthia, the river may be hosed all summer. May head to Toho tomorrow to start the month. One of the guys spraying the river told me about a submerged hydrilla bed in an area he said has never to his knowledge, since he's been spraying, had hydrilla. 10-12ft of water.

Congrats Tress and Daddy.

Sorry you skunked Barry. It's been a tough month for a lot of us. At least you did pretty good!

Been trying for the last few trips to cull up to 110, but it ain't happening. Got another skunk yesterday at my friend's private lake (third skunk this month), and it was sickening. I lost a solid 4+ that may or may not have culled, then broke off on the hookset fishing a deep hole with a jig. Judging from the fish I'd been catching from that particular lake, I'd guess it was also a good one. Had a couple other bites on the jig, and one on the chatterbait, none of which made it to the boat.
I was proud of Lake "A" this month. This is where I usually go to get a limit, but it's hard to find fish over 20" to cull with. Well, this month, two of my stringer came from there, and I caught one a few days ago (my only bite) that was 20.25 and over 4lbs. Not big enough to cull, but I was stoked to get 3 fish over 20" out of this lake in June. One on a Spro frog, and two flippin reeds, which is rarely productive on this lake. The bites have gotten hard to come by, but at least the quality is there.
Hoping to get some time on the water tomorrow and Sunday.
