Transducer placement on 1995 Skeeter SS140

Transom mount. First step down seems to high, last step down to low will hit trailer or bunks.
has anyone had this problem? Helix TD SI

Mine is on the first step down. It's under the water, and has clearance from the motor and sponsons.
