BTW I bought the 7 speed gear upgrade from TTT for my Metanium MG. Installed it and fished it for the first time today. That made a BIG difference in smoothness. A really big difference. Guess having like metals touching in the gears helps. Super glad I did that, and if I wind up using this rod as I think I will for squarebills, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and topwater, it will be handier to have it a little sped up.

Is this the MG you are selling? Also, brass is always gonna be smoother than aluminum. It's just the hardness of the metal that make aluminum more of a geary feel.

Its crazy. Some people will pay a ridiculous amount of money for a Core, when the same reel can be had over seas. The only reason I even wanted the Core50 is because I like to have all the different models of the design I like. Makes me feel like I'm not fishing the same exact thing, even though I am. Same with my Zillions. It's weird, I know, I have learned to accept myself. Haha
