I'm waiting on a handle and some new grease to try out. Everything is cleaned, spool bearings are flushed and drying and the pinion gear and driveshaft bearings are soaking in gear oil.

Drag star, CCC, line pipe, drag and handle all getting upgraded.

Another holy grail reel has been collected!

HAHAHAHA - Just had to have it since the Core that I got three weeks ago has one or two teeth stripped. it doesn't affect the performance. That one will become the "backup" gear set and will use the one that I will receive within few days.

iMac 21.5" on the left with a Asus 21.5" dual monitor for it. Right monitor is a 21.5" Acer. I plug my work Dell into for a 2nd spilt screen.

Now I do have a triple and a quadruple setup at work!

Make that two of us Got triple monitors at work along with dual monitors at home. Once you go two ..you can never go back to one

BTW I bought the 7 speed gear upgrade from TTT for my Metanium MG. Installed it and fished it for the first time today. That made a BIG difference in smoothness. A really big difference. Guess having like metals touching in the gears helps. Super glad I did that, and if I wind up using this rod as I think I will for squarebills, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and topwater, it will be handier to have it a little sped up.

It's a huge upgrade for the platform. It bumps you from 26 IPT to 30 IPT.
