For enough money I can have what ever reel you want #1 on any list you want. 
Hell I will even have Hillary Clinton winning hands down on every national poll. 
Polls, rankings, top 10s etc. are nothing short of advertising. The few cases its not its just a opinion.

KastKing has done a massive media blitz taking a brand that not one person knew about and made it a commonly discussed reel. All those guys that were touting Shimano Daiwa etc when they had to buy their own didn't just switch and claim KastKing was awesome and start waving them around as a better replacement for a higher quality reel for nothing. 

LMG is going to tell you to avoid them.

They are Chinese OEM reels. Will they do the job? Sure. Will they be as nice as say a Lews or Abu from a Korean OEM? No. They are priced accordingly though. Its just more hyped up junk from YouTube. Many products are now.

Thanks for the info, I kind of figured for that price point they would be iffy. I like collecting  hand tools and it blew my mind when I learned that a lot of different brands are made in the same factories, same materials and all, the only difference is the branding and price.

Well, I thought my package got delivered today. Turns out I tracked it to New Jersey through USPS. lol
Called the vendor and they accidentally attached the wrong tracking number to my purchase. Doh...
