Governor Holcomb Joins Bipartisan Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus

On March 9, the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) welcomed Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb as the newest member of the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus (GSC). Governor Holcomb joins the 29 other governors, and one lieutenant governor, dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of America's sportsmen and women, and advancing professional fish and wildlife management policy.

"It's an honor to join this distinguished group," Governor Holcomb said. "I look forward to collaborating with the other members to help conserve our nation's wildlife and natural resources."

Founded in 2009, the GSC facilitates communication and information exchange amongst participating offices across the country in support of policies and regulations that promote and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping. The GSC is led by Co-Chairs Governor Steve Bullock (MT), Governor Phil Bryant (MS), and Vice-Chairs Governor Matt Mead (WY) and Governor Tom Wolf (PA).

Governor Holcomb joins the Indiana members of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus and the Indiana Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus in representing the 867,000 hunters and anglers in the state. The Hoosier State's sportsmen and women spend about $925 million annually and help support around 15,000 jobs in the state.
