Lipripper asked me if I could make some "Road Runner" style bladed jigs for him to target Crappies. So, here's the result, which could also be a good choice for bass. These are 1/8 oz, molded on a #2 Mustad Ultra Point 32833BLN hook. Lip wanted a stout hook, as he said they often hook up with catfish or Walleye's, and this hook is 2X strong, & popular with the Steelhead folks for jigs. Should be no problem!   lo

Owner & Gamakatsu make similar hooks too, but are a bit more costly. Any of the three brands work well IMO.

They're powder painted black, and I used Sampo swivels & Worth blades. These were made in black with nickel blades per Lips request, as he said it's what he has the most success with! I made 50 of them, 40 for Lip & some extra's for myself. The eyes are painted with enamel. I used Ace Hardware paints, which worked fine! Only took pics of a dozen & a single close up.  :)

It's that time of year, so if you're not inclined to only be chasing bass, or really enjoy targeting the panfish, these types of jigs are fun to make!  ~gf
