 Seaguar says,
It's soft and supple with low memory, making it a great choice for finesse applications. It's available on 150 yd. spools and formulated in four sizes for finesse presentations including 5.2 lb., 6.2 lb. 7.3 lb and 8.4 lb

Mark Menendez says,
Elite Series Pro Mark Menendez spooled up Finesse for testing and let the rod sit for several weeks. "When I picked up my rod outfitted with the Finesse Fluoro I was amazed. Zero memory and the best manageability of any line I have ever used. It flows off the spool just like braid!"

Facts.....
Line Diameter   5.2lb   6.2lb   7.3lb   8.4lb
Inches   .0065   .0073   .0081   .0085
Millimeters   .165   .185   .205   .215

$1.80 per yard   :shocking:
$27 for 150 yards

They say they have the odd Test numbers so you can 'DIAL IN' the needed poundage.
I guess I can see, 5,6,7,8 BUT ,.2, .2, .3, .4...... ::)

So Pro Staff (everyone),

Anyone use it?   (not many places have it yet)
Did you like it?
Thoughts?

The rest of us:  :)
Thoughts?
What do you think of the line tests.......gimmick or Pro?
Would/Will you consider putting on a Spinning Rod?     (I know, I know......."What's a Spinning Rod?"  ~shade
ANY/ALL comments WELCOME!

I saw it at basspro. I was kind of scratching my head too.

I will tell you that Tatsu is their premium line and not much will hang with that(notice I said not much). Different price points I know, but when you are talking about 30 bucks for a spool, you might as well get what you like.

That said, not much beats Sniper to me. Sunline is about the same price and has caused me zero issues. As far as my spinning setup, I prefer braid with a leader.

I am intrigued about other people's thoughts as I do think Seaguar makes a good product.

Down, thanks for the great input.
I believe I read while researching that this line is made through the same/similar process as Tatsu........at least it comes up in the very 'limited' discussions so far.

Thanks again!

In the past it may have been a line that would have interested me.  I have been using Gliss for about a year now and find that it meets all of my needs very well.   I do use a FC leader on occasion, but have used it straight to the hook when on the water and did not feel like tying a joining knot on the boat.

This is in reference to spinning setups

Tatsu is the truth. Sunline or Seaguar are really can't miss lines.

Tavery, thanks for the input.

Curious, if your willing to share with me, what knot you tie....both to lure and 'if' your adding a  a leader?
I got a couple of Gliss  (could only get direct from WFT) back before Ardent started selling it.
Never gave it a FAIR amount of usage because I didn't have need for 'longer' casts so it ended up on a setup I almost never use.
Other reason I didn't use it much was the one downfall I noticed first outing I used it,  it FRAYED way to easily and where I was fishing it.....I had to retie after every second fish I caught........and like every 15th cast even if no fish were caught.

Rethinking things because I now realize that it has one thing I want for this other than just castability advantages........is less stretch than mono (which I currently use).
I now have a presentation I'm considering using it for come Spring.
And I want a FLOATING line....not one that sinks.

Thanks again.

I use the palomar knot for attaching to the bait, and the double uni for joining line.   I have tried my usual knots the improved clinch and the alberto, but I have had both slip and just did not find them as reliable as the previous mentioned.

Thanks Tavery!

Ok, to get back on track.

So here's Tatsu and Finesse comparisons.

Tatsu
Line Diameter   6lb   8lb   10lb   12lb   15lb   20lb   25lb
Inches   .008   .009   .010   .011   .013   .015   .016
Millimeters   .205   .235   .260   .285   .330   .370   .405

Finesse Flourocarbon
Line Diameter   5.2lb   6.2lb   7.3lb   8.4lb
Inches   .0065   .0073   .0081   .0085
Millimeters   .165   .185   .205   .215

Shaw Grisby loves it........but Seaguar is a major sponsor of his.
Cody Meyers gives it a GREAT review.........don't think BUT not sure if Seaguar sponsors him.
Mark Daniels (FLW)....again not sure BUT think Seaguar IS one of his sponsors....jersey doesn't show their label though.

VERY, VERY few reviews from ANYONE....especially a non-tournament average Joe angler.
Guess it's too new, came out for Icast 2016 BUT couldn't get it from retailers till middle to late Fall.

Made by the same process as Tatsu and THEY HAVE VERY FEW NEGATIVE REVIEWS.

First I want to thank those who have given input on this line but I see many views but not many comments/thoughts on it.

Finesse Fishing and Spinning Tackle are almost synonymous and yes my research is for intended use on a Spinning set up.

So come on Pro Staff /Anyone/Everyone....give me your thoughts even if you haven't used it.
Added question;
Would you consider using it?
If so....what test would/will you consider using.
As always 'WHYS' are very important to me!!! ;) ;D
