I'm flirting around with a basic Missouri Craw color. I tied 3 different jigs all with the same colors and strands with different layers.

Would you guys mind telling me what looks better? I'd appreciate it. This is just a basic Craw for now. 87 strand jig with rubber and silicone.

1st jig from the left has more color on the inside of the jig body. Rubber is outside.

Middle jig is the exact opposite. Color on the outside and rubber inside.

Right jig has a sandwich layer of rubber/silicone/rubber/silicone.

Personally I like the looks of the far left jig, but I've never fished this color before so I'm curious what those who have think. Two pictures show both sides is the jig and they are all in the same order.

Thanks in advance

They all look nice but I like the one in the middle.

It's a toss up for me between the one on the left and the one in the middle.  :-\

I dont know to be honest.  Is there any way to catch a crawdad locally this spring?  I dont know when the seasons are that they change.  I know the fish I have caught in the spring there the ones stuffed with crawdads in their mouth were a green pumpkin color.  Perhaps some other crawdad colors for the other two?

There is this:

I believe that when they are blue, the shell is soft is what Wiz told me once.  Maybe take the bottom 2 and combine them?

If you put a trap out you will find the colour combo for that time of year.

I use the color combo a lot. I like the one on the far right. I prefer a little more towards the chartreuse/yellow. My strands have a wider band of pumpkin breaking up the black/chartreuse.
Any of the jigs could be called Missouri Craw.

i like the one on the left best.  chartreuse is one of the colors that is easy to get too much of it in the color pattern.

There is nothing like time on the water.

Middle gets my vote. I have a couple of Siebert's jigs in MO Craw, haven't used them much and haven't had a lot of luck with them yet.

Thank you sir.

On that note, what you would recommend? I have two full tabs of the Missouri Craw color. Put some orange in?

Xs 2.
Throw them all and see what the fish want, they are the judges that count. They all look good.

Rock,
If you haven't seen these webinars from Navionics, might be some insights.  Get a cold drink (or two)...

two webinars by Michael Murphy on crawfish movements and seasonal implications to color drivers.

Think I'm gonna reserve my pick for which one catches you the most/biggest fish.  Which ever does that for you will be my favorite.
