Has anyone tried using the IBobber fish finder for bank fishing? I got one for Christmas just in time for ice to be all formed up. Thoughts?

I'm not familiar enough with it but I bet it bounces when cast on ice :shocking:

I've watched several videos about it and it's actually genius for a who're angler. You can find drop offs, grass lines, and various cover like stumps or rock piles. It's definitely worth playing with...

I don't know if you ice fish but I find those things handy when put in the hole. Just be sure to subtract your depth reading from the thickness of the ice to get an accurate reading of depth.

I have the Deeper fish finder, similar. I love it. Made bank fishing way more interesting and productive for me, being able to have an idea what the bottom looks like. I use it when I'm going in someone else's small boat too.

After watching YouTube videos people really use it as a bobber as well for crappie and sunfish. After thinking about it this seems  like an inexpensive alternative to HB360 sonar while on the boat.
