Well boys, it looks like its gonna be a good time again. Had a small issue with the wife due to some wedding that she is supposed to make a cake for thats in Lake Placid. I had forgot that I was supposed to stay down here when she goes up there to deliver the cake. Good thing is we have plenty of family that is more than eager to watch the little man, so its a go for me as a definite to be back in Bama with you crazy suns of beaches.  Oh round 2 is a comin. I hope yall are ready, cause I was on the phone with the other 2 trouble makers last night. Joe and John are ready to party it up.

just looked at some historical data from a weather API. 

2015 was about 8 degrees cooler than 2016 on average for the times we were there.  in 2015 it was low 80's, 2016 it was low 90s

For october, the first time we were there were highs of 62 which was 3-4 October of 2014.  I went ahead and looked the years before and it was night like that.  I do remember in 2014 were were under a coldfront for sure.  Dead NE wind which made it real tough out there. 

Looking at the timeframe for 2017, I am going to use the 2016 temp on that same weekend closest to those days. Its high that days was 77.  the big difference being bigger temp swings and overnight temps, which were lower.  To me this is good, gets them moving.  once that overnight temp breaks 50 is when I consider fall fishing to be "on".

no hard water up here junior.  My lake is not frozen.
