OK, I've got your attention now!

This isn't really a specific fishing tip and I didn't intend it to be for the contest, but when I saw this I thought I could have really used this when installing my trolling motor or maybe working on gauges or something under the dash.

When you have a nut that needs to go somewhere where it is hard to hold because of reach or something, take a piece of scotch tape and tape the nut to your finger. The tape will hold it and the bolt coming from the other side will break through the tape and grab the threads.
I find it particularly hard to hold a nut and a washer at the same time and keep them lined up. I tried this tip with both nut and washer and it also worked.
The way that worked best for me was to tape the nut to your finger first. Then line the washer up on the nut and tape the washer down with another piece of scotch tape.
I've used a dab of grease to hold the nut before and this works much better.

Hope this helps someone!

Real good tip there cojab if you're alone on the job. If you're with a buddy or significant other I guess you could ask one of them to hold your nuts for you too. That would save on tape.

Try super gluing the washer to the nut first, have done this many times in the past. Just another way to save tape.
