Shimano Chronarch 150 CI4+ VS Curado 2001

If these reels were basically the same price which one would you purchase and why?  My intended purpose would be for jigs and texas rig worms

Both great reels. Chronarch may toss lighter baits better, but Curado is tougher with the aluminum frame. Chronarch is a better palming reel and lighter.

If money is even I'd go chronarch, it's a little lighter and will cast lighter baits if needed.

The chronarch will have better resale should you ever want to.

Im looking at the CU201IHG for the Curado.  Have you heard anything about Shimanno coming out with a new Chronarch?  I found a site that has the Chronarch c4i on a closeout sale. Im guessing this is hinting at a new model coming out?

For what you can get a Ci4 now for, Id get the Ci4. You can always sell it later for what they are going for now

The price is nice, but I'm holding out for the new one. We will be able to snatch up the Ci4's for at least a few months afterwards
