The reasoning behind it was completely out of the realm. Many factors went into me going back and giving this platform another shot. Under my normal fishing ways, this reel would not be in my arsenal.

Got the parts for the side plate release button. Put them in, then added a drop of super glue to hopefully avoid any further issue.

Well....my Wife, God bless her, apparently had talked to Lee and Brian (tackle trap) and one of the Christmas presents was a spool for the T3. Unfortunately the one she had got was the stock one, when I was going to upgrade the spool. All this started cause I came home pissed that the reel broke and I dropped the spool to top it off. She made a very good effort, and I appreciated it very much. She now mad cause she doesnt have anything for me for Christmas.  At least Brian will let me return the spool for credit to something else (but she still dont care ) I cant win.  She really is the best Wife though.
