This one almost touched 6

Nice. Good color too!

I've caught bass all life and never broke that  6 pound barrier.

Yeah I've only OFFICIALLY broken it 1 time with my P.B. (6lb 11oz).  I've pulled one off that same shoreline that I'd estimate was right at 6 or a little better, working on getting the picture sized down to post it.

Edit:  I think I got it to work... Same shoreline, different day, and before I had my scale so the exact weight is an estimation... like I said I THINK this one was over 6 but not verified.

My estimation by looking at it.....likely between 6-15 and 7-02.  That girl has a belly!!

Those are some mighty nice fish!! Mine was maybe 21/4-21/2 lbs, don't do it anymore and didn't much before. Most anyplace where the fishing would be good is developed or small and crowded with more and more people pushing in. There are a couple of manmade ponds I might look at for off days to try some things.

thanks man.. being blessed with the best catch of them all required me to take a step back from a lot of things for a period of time.  Things have settled a bit, and cabin fever has set in, so hopefully I'll be around a bit more.

My PB was from bank fishing.  Shhhh ... it was from a pond behind bass pro.

Not huge but OK for WI.

PLUS it was caught on a NuJig!

Couple more.

Unfortunately that one swallowed real deep and had to be released in the frying pan.

It was 6.37.

This one was at dusk so here's the weight.

And

Those TWO were back to back......obviouslly after a short wait for picture....2nd pic was first caught so the flash on camera didn't ruin the pic.  :)
BUT THE DATES ARE 10 days A PART on PIC.........so either my memory is bad or I messed up the camera date trying to mess with taking pics in the dark......?????

Actually think first pic was bigger BUT not much.

That's some pretty big fish!

<")))>{

My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

Capt. BassinLou

Very nice fish, thank you for sharing those pics Anal.

Awesome bank fish guys  ~bb    ~c~

Being a northern guy my whole life, best I could do is a 5.5lb from shore.
I'm much more confident from a boat.

BB

Thanks guys.

The cool thing is they were caught at three DIFFERENT BOWs.

And the sad thing, I caught multiple Smallies, 4+ lbers at another body of water but even though I carry a scale WADING......I don't carry a CAMERA!

And for non-Bass,

AT YET ANOTHER DIFFERENT BOW.

Don't anyone ever tell me, "SHOREBUSTING ISN'T FUN!"  ;) lo

And if you check PIC. dates, these ALL were caught during different times of the year, Spring, Summer and Fall.........and Winter I only fish for tackle on the internet.  lo

HARD AT WORK!!!!!

Lip, the Northern was caught in ILLINOIS in early March cause our season is closed and I was SMALLIE fishing with a NuJig.

Lipripper

It's nice not having closed seasons . They only have a closed season on yellow perch from May 1 to June 15 to further safeguard the spawning stock on Lake Michigan.
