Got out on to Lake Ontario yesterday, I have several spots GPSed for perch and the lake was smooth enough to get to them, went with a friend. We got to the first one, about 50 fow and got into them, most were fat and 10-14 inches, nice fish, same at the second spot. We were drop shotting 2 inch teardrops, they were about the size of the minnows the perch were spitting up. The lake around Rochester was in the mid 50s, 5 or 10 degrees higher than normal. Hit the bay today alone, windy and I wanted to get out of it, probably hurt my fishing but I just didn't want to deal with it. I hooked up a 3/8 ounce Strata Spoon in hammered nickel, first fish, a small perch. lo Caught one bass, small, one rock bass and a dozen or so perch all small, not what I was looking for but still fun.

Great report there Rodney. Thanks for sharing that and it's good to see you got one day of calm on that lake. That doesn't happen too often.
