Id like to thank everyone for coming out.  I had a great time.  Bo, thanks for taking me out fishing and some good chicken and Beans as well as the grass jig and other jig!  Mike and Laurie, thanks for making the trip.  Had a great time. Oh, and thanks for the crankbaits!!
Rich, thanks a ton for filling in for me when I was too busy or incapable of getting in touch with me!! Thanks for putting the deposit on the rooms...etc and for helping out food wise, and taking me to get a new phone!!
Thanks to my Dad for being an active participant and filleting and cooking the fish.  They were great!! Oh, and for showing Rich how to drink a few beers 

Looking forward to many more folks showing up next year!

That rain was crazy. I turned my Met MGL upside down in the Cabin and it poured me a drink

Indeed. I exhausted all my Jig efforts with Zero success. Caught one on a Jerkbait, but everything else was on a Green/Gold Senko with tips dipped in Spike it. Caught 7 on Saturday doing this. Sure beat getting skunked on a trip

I know on Thursday I seen him using a shaky head or something close to it. Thursday evening he caught a few at night with Caddy. Not sure about the rest of the time. He may have been the smart one and stayed at home warm and dry

i did not get to fish too much because of other things going on, but what little i did fish, i caugth lots of shorts on a "ned" using our crappie jig.  and, i caught them all on the same head and piece of plastic.  i fished some thursday evening, and most of sat.  so, that same head and piece of elastic plastic accounted for 30 or so bass, just 3 keepers though, and i still have it tied on ready for the next time.

fished briefly thursday after dark with joe, and he caught a keeper right off the bat on the old faithful brown and blue.  did not stay out very long because i had to be up at 5 am to head out for tulsa.

wished the weather would have been better, but you never know what mother nature has planned.  speaking of mother nature, she was not feeling well at all and maybe that is why the weather was matching .  not laughing about her feeling bad because that is not funny at all, but have to blame the weather on something.

She's starting to feel better but it's put a whoopin on her this go round.
