Launched from Washington County Park 07:00. Lake has been drawn down but not as low as I've ever seen it. Water was clear with a very light stain. Water up in the river was more stained, lots of bait fish but, no hungry bass. Surface temp was running 77-78, light breeze and some cloud cover. Boated one smallie in four hours and decided to call it a day.

Or I will be... LOL

I suspect the bite was off do to the lowering of the lake. I could have spent more time playing with the new Garmin but with the water low and the small floating dock nearly beached, I wanted to get off the water before the ramp got crowded. Didn't get enough fish slime on my hands to make it worth the hassle.

Sounds like your fall migration is just getting started. Soon the bass will catch on :-*
