Toled Bend

I am going to Toledo Bend this weekend and I was wondering if anyone went this past weekend? If so, how did you do and what are they hitting and whats the best spots. Are the bass up in the flats yet? Please let me know, I'm bringing my wife out with me and she really wants to catch some bass. I would like to keep her interested.

fished the La. Oilman's Classic this past weekend with 712 other boats/teams......seems a lot of the fish were on the flats and grass lines/standing timber & stumps....... Bugs Island area, Indian mound area, Tenn. bay area,,,,,,,,the larger fish came from down south area........ my partner & I caught over 100 bass, 1 1/2 to 4 pound fish, but we just couldn't get on to any big fish were we where........We trailered up to Huxley Bay area on the Texas side and fished the creeks, the winds were bad and the waves were very big,,,,,3-4 foot most of the time...............
Plastics & spinnerbaits,,,,,,, lizards,,,,, black-blue tails worked very well,,,,,,,,had good luck with the ribbit bull frog in the grass flats also....
