August Tournament

          Our august tournament will be held at the Mermentau river on august 7th. The launch and times will be voted on at the august meeting.

I wish we knew the launch now.  I'd like to pre fish since I don't squat about that river.  That being said if you practice from the Mermentau launch and the tourney launches out of Streeter's it would suck pretty bad.

Unless something major has changed with that launch I don't see us launching there. I would guess we would launch at the bridge as thats where we have launched the last two times. Of course anybody can suggest any launch and you never know how the vote will go. In any case you can always trailer.

          Our year end tournament will be at Mermentau river, launch will be at the hwy 90 launch, from 6am-2pm. After the weigh-in the top ten will draw on the top ten tournament and decide times.

       That's all she wrote! Number ten is in the books and wow what a scorcher! We had the best turnout of the year and made for a pretty good tournament. Alot of fish brought to the scales and pretty good weights, here is how it played out.


                                    1st place team went to Shane and Greg with 11.94 lbs
                                    2nd place team went to Mike and Scott with 9.14 lbs
                                    3rd place team went to John and Johnny with 8.79 lbs
