Fished Caddo today in the TCTC tournament.  Managed to put 11 fish in the boat with 5 that would weigh.  All the fish came in less than 4 feet of water on lizards (black ruby) and senkos (watermelon candy and junebug, both with the tails dipped).  The wind definitely played into the fishing today.  Water temps ranged from 64 to 69.

We also fished the TCTC tourney. Caught 9 or 10 fish, only one over, weighed 3.7lbs. Never could get an under, it was either dinks or slots. Rattletraps, chatterbait, and spinnerbaits off the trees in 2-4ft of water early. Missed a few on plastics. Caught a couple dinks off grass line later in the morning. Wind really became an issue around lunch.

Congrats to all the winners ~c~!

Fished TCTC yesterday and had a good time. Caught 1 weight fish but enough for big bass at 4.9, I think. She was spawned out and scrawny. Caught 9 or 10 slots. Most fish came off deeper(4-6ft) single trees in wind a little away from thickets. Caught them on either a dark melon red tube or a black and blue jig. Real windy or bad stained = jig, clearer w/ only a little wind- I was throwing the tube. Also caught a few and had some blow ups on a frog in shallower grass w/ trees - shallower side of thickets.

For yall that have spending time out there:

all the fish I caught looked like they had already spawned out, skinny and sores, Is any body catching any w/ eggs?

I'm going to spend a good bit of time on Caddo this month, see yall out there.

We caught several slots on Friday that had roe coming from their bellies. And saw another 4 or 5 pounder just off her bed ,the male was on the bed ...we yanked him but she pulled away out of sight and never returned while we were there.

The winner in their tourney yesterday had 15 pounds. Their big bass was 8 pounds, second biggest was over 6.
