Just a heads up for DSI, I mounted my LSS-1 to my Minn Kota Power Drive, put the unit on DSI view and it's really hinky. The electric steer causes interference on DS and doesn't allow a picture worth a crap. The SC worked well but not the DS. Just a heads up.

Is there a noise filter you can add?  Sounds like the motor noise is interfering with the signal.

Rangerman had this same exact problem as well as others.  You might want to send him a PM and he can advise what they did to correct the noise problem.
