Anybody try any good beers lately?

Here are a couple hoppy ones I really enjoyed:

Some good Stouts too:

The Fish Man

Central Waters is one of my favorites.  Their Muddypuppy Porter is outstanding.

Some good brews you've got there.  Check out the app Tapped.  Basically the social media of beer where you share what your drinking and give it a rating.  It will recommend similar beers and also where to find them. Pretty cool little app and helpful to remember what you've drank.

A local beer from my neck of the woods

The sheer number of craft brews available locally across Northern America is simply mind blowing.

Anyone had some good ones lately? It's stout season so my stash is mostly filled with dark and heavy beers.

Don't you hate it when you pick up something to try, discover it's good, but can't find it again? I do.

I have been drinking Abita''s Purple Haze lately. The favorite bar moved and got bigger and they have more taps. This and they carry Leinenkugel's grapefruit shandy on tap. So I have been enjoying these!

So many choices! So little time.

I picked up a case of this local brew today!

The brewer is a kid who worked at my store through high school and university. A real smart kid. He had 10 thousand cans released to local liquor stores yesterday. Katalyst Brewing Company is the name. Congrats to this 24 year old for having the dedication and business sense to get this released in such a big way.  Having said that, I haven't tasted it yet, I'm letting it get to temp.

Jim, some good beers in that picture. I like Rodenbach a lot, not for everyone though. It's a bit sour and complex. Im curious about those beers on the right hand side of the same shelf too.

John, let us know how that saison is.

My buddy brought me this back from Fargo, it tastes like a peanut butter bon-bon:

Craig that peanut brew looks mighty fine!!! I sampled the saison brew last night and it truly was delicious. Nice touch of citrus at the end made it even better. I may invest in the company and then we can start shippin some your way Joe!!! I think I would enjoy being in the beer business!!
