I've been getting more and more into swimbait fishing, mainly hard baits. I've had a lot of luck on the smaller stuff and even a few nice ones on a 7" MS Slammer, but I was wondering about the 8-12" range. Have any of you guys that fish the reservoirs tried them out, and if so have you had any luck with them? Thanks upfront for any input..

You could probably nail some good size stripers in Liberty or the WSSC reservoirs trolling them in deep water and I'm sure a big, hungry bass wouldn't turn one down either.

I throw 6.5-8" glidebaits almost every time I fish around here.  The 3-4 lbers sure do love the 6" size. I have a 8" BBZ coming next week so, hopefully something hungry will be in the area.

How do you like that slammer?  Im seriously considering grabbing one.

I throw up 8-9" and they work fine! Below pictured is a 200 SWaver and Savage Line Thru which both are 8".

It swims real nice, and they hit it hard. I just picked up a mini slammer but haven't tried it out yet. I'm going to pick up a 9" one here soon. Swimbait city usually has the best prices on them.
