Dobyns Rods - My New Computer Wallpaper

I had to make the Dobyns Rods Fury Series logo my new computer wallpaper. I haven't had a chance to fish with the new 733C yet because of my recent move, but I like the way it looks and feels so much I just had to give it a place of honor. And this way every time I have to work at any of my computers it can remind me of the great rod I have and how I need to get off my butt and go do some fishing with it.

I haven't caught a fish off my new 735 yet either but it sure feels good in the hand.

I played with the 735 and 703 Fury Rods last fall, Both fish very well are balanced and comfortable to use. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another Fury as my next rod. I still feel like the Champion series is the better choice for the bottom contact techniques though.

Oh Man,  if my results are average for Dobyn's rods,  you are in luck.  The picture below was the second fish I caught on my new Extreme.  The first one was 4 pounds and this was the second.  unfortunately,  it went downhill from there...

Please disregard the ugly fat guy standing behind the fish.
